It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What do you currently do for work and/or school?: I currently work as Academic Advisor at Sacramento State while also being a graduate student in the Counseling- Career MS program at Sacramento State.
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?:An advocate and information source for students trying to achieve their higher educational goals .
What are you passionate about?: I am passionate about helping others and promoting equity !
Why is the representation of scholars of color important to you?: The representation of scholars of color is important to me because I want to inspire others and be inspired as well! Seeing other scholars of color and reading their stories is an eye opening experience.

Anything else you would like us to know?: Im always searching for opportunities to better myself so that I can be better for others. My first language is Spanish and I need to practice it more , so please chat with me in Spanish if you see me ! Last but not least , remember that “everything happens for a reason” and you are exactly where you are supposed to be in this moment.
