It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: A soul having a human experience.
What are you passionate about?: I am passionate about Mental Health and educating every generation, old and new, on the importance of taking care of their mental health and how it can impact every aspect of their life.
What does the representation of Scholars of Color mean to you?: Scholars of Color is an inspiration to me and something I wish I had at the beginning of my journey to look up to! It's a beautiful visual representation of how diverse scholars truly are, and showcases the many different pathways that can be taken. This platform is much needed because it shows others who look like us that achieving their dreams are possible too, no matter what other people or society has said about us.

Anything else you would like us to know?: I consider myself a multifaceted individual! I'm a childhood cancer survivor (10 years & counting!), photographer, writer, and mental health and social justice advocate. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, connecting with family and friends, creating art, reading a good book, meditating, going to the gym, and creating new playlists.
