It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What do you currently do for work and/or school?: Graduate Student Assistant
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: Youth Civic Engagement Activist
What are you passionate about?: Youth Civic Engagement
Why is the representation of scholars of color important to you?: It makes it seem more possible that we can achieve. Everyone needs a network, sometimes knowing that one exists is a piece of the motivation you need to succeed.

Anything else you would like us to know?: I think this project is much needed. We need to relearn how to thrive, not just survive. We do that by acknowledging each other, and our individual as well as collective strengths.
