It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What do you currently do for work and/or school?: Project Manager, SMUDs Sustainable Communities; Board member for Cottage Housing Inc.; Board Secretary for National Pan-Hellenic Council, Sacramento
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: I’m a baby philanthropist trying to grow into a full grown philanthropist. I want to give back in anyway that I can because I know there is no way I could have made it to the position I am in without others who looked out for me. I believe in reaching back and pulling up anyone who is willing to do the same for the next. I also believe in education with all of my heart. Education is something that I can own outright. No one can ever take that from me. I think we should all be forever students and continue to grow and learn in as many ways as possible.
What are you passionate about?: I am passionate in seeing people on fire! I love seeing the spark in others and being able to help them get to their next level. I am passionate about evening the playing field so we all have the opportunity to shine.
Why is the representation of scholars of color important to you?: Representing as a scholar of color and a woman of color means so much to me. I want to be a role model for others. I want young women to look at me and say, HELL YEAH, I CAN DO it!
