It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What do you currently do for work and/or school?: Hall Director at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: I am someone who loves to laugh, and smile throughout the day and I am very determined toward reaching my goals.
What are you passionate about?: I am passionate about immigration reform, equitable housing, and centering the voices of people of color in all spaces in our society.
Why is the representation of scholars of color important to you?: The representation of scholars of color is so important to me due to my value of connection to others. As a Salvadoran Latino, I feel as though I have had a hard time finding community with my identity and this representation is super important to continue this movement.
