It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What's your current occupation? (i.e. Student, Scientist, Coach, In transition, etc.): Assistant Director of Admissions of Wayne State College
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: Authentic, Humble, Blessed
What are you passionate about?: I am passionate about inspiring others to reach their goals, while they chase their dreams. I am passionate about making a positive impact to the life of others whether it be physically, mentally/emotionally, or spiritually.
What does the representation of Scholars of Color mean to you?: To stay authentic no matter what room you enter. Authentic to your definition of culture, life, and YOU.

Anything else you would like us to know?: I am a proud first generation graduate. I am the first one in my entire family to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree. I am now the first to pursue a Master’s Degree too, in Higher Education Student Affairs. I am faith oriented and big on spirituality. My personal motto in life is, "I am inspired by many and I inspire the rest. I am one of a kind, always have been and always will be!"
