It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: Introverted book lover, life-long learner, iced-coffee fiend, community builder, social justice advocate, believer of good energy, listener of ancestors’ wisdom, supporter of women, community builder, truth seeker.
What are you passionate about?: Equity, inclusion, freedom, reading, writing, speaking truth, creative energy, using my voice for good, raising a good human.
What does the representation of Scholars of Color mean to you?: Representing as a Scholar of Color is a place of honor, it means that it’s my community accountability to uplift, support, encourage our young people to move into higher education as a way to bring positive change in the world through our leadership and experiences. This is an honor.

Anything else you would like us to know?: I believe in humanity, restoring relationships, and that people are more than their worst behaviors or decisions. I believe there is enough good energy to change the world if we are willing to be brave to harness it. I also believe that unlearning is as critical as learning. This is essential for equity and dismantling oppression and racism.
