What do you currently do for work and/or school?: PolyTransfer Coordinator at Cal Poly Pomona
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: I'm a light in this world. I attempt to get to know people fully/wholly and work to understand my role in reaching their purpose in life. I'm a creatress who loves to build others and community while rebelling against social injustices in our world.
What are you passionate about?: I'm passionate about creating in real life (irl) connections; specifically with Chicana/Latinas as they rise, but as well as womxn of color and making sure to have them see their own light and purpose. My current passion project is the collective #Doctorahood, highlighting femtorship opportunities and access for mujeres/woc in many disciplines.
Why is the representation of scholars of color important to you?: I like to say I'm a sCHOLar of color who brings in my communities, my identities, my parents, primos/cousins, etc. into the academy to continue to break it down and make it truly cultrually relevant.

Anything else you would like us to know?: Passion Project/Side Hustle - The #Doctorahood of Chicana/Latinas is a passion of mine and I work with other chingonas to create visibility through my #DinnerconDoctoras events, #Doctorahood shirt line and future projects to develop WOC writing circles and assist WOC in their RISING!
