It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What's your current occupation? (i.e. Student, Scientist, Coach, In transition, etc.): Graduate Student | MS Candidate in Higher Education
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: I would describe myself as a leader who aims to serve a cause greater than myself. In collaboration with others, I seek to create positive change and a culture that is just, equal, fair, and compassionate.
What are you passionate about?: Higher Education, Leadership, Student Equity, Diversity, Social Justice, Community Building, Identity Development
What does the representation of Scholars of Color mean to you?: As a first-generation Asian-American, representing Scholars of Color only validates my story, challenges, hardships, failures, and continuous growth. All of that is what has allowed me to be who I am today and I hope it empowers others to seek their own authentic journey towards success.

Anything else you would like us to know?: I personally wish platforms like Scholars of Color existed when I was growing up. It is inspiring to see so many scholars from various industries celebrated and showcased. Such representation shows the strength and capital we each have that has allowed us to be where we are. In saying that, know that you too are worthy of success as I hope that we can all continue to stay inspired and inspire others.
