What do you currently do for work and/or school?: Systems Architect Engineer | Realtor® | Aspiring Author. In a nutshell, I help develop the future, make homeownership possible and stare at a blank Word doc until word vomit happens. And... I love every second of it.
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: Old soul with a passion for learning, dancing and traveling!
What are you passionate about?: Empowering and supporting first generation Latinos born to immigrant parents! I know the struggle and I like to share the pearls of wisdom my mentors shared with me.
Why is the representation of scholars of color important to you?: The first time I realized that there were other Engineering Entrepreneurs leading multiple careers was at age 20. That was 17 years too late. Seeing someone that looks like you makes the process easier. Believing we can achieve greatness is unmatched. Growing up poor I knew making enough money was a necessity. As I got older, I realized money is important, but it is not everything. Happiness cannot be bought! There is wisdom in being a scholar.

Anything else you would like us to know?: If I could give my 13 year old self any advice it would be, "You miss 100% of the shots you do not take." This is true for sports, career, education, dating, opportunity and happiness. Courage is fear that decided to take action. Being afraid should not be an excuse for not moving forward.
