It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What do you currently do for work and/or school?: Currently a senior in college and ooh I carry soo many work related hats. I'm a Designer (graphic & ui/ux). Through my skills I envision to help small business owners and non profits maximize their resources to make their projects grow and thrive!
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: A Mujxr de Luna, a being that just wants to bring light to this physical world.
What are you passionate about?: ooooooh ALOT OF THINGS! Anything nature, the moon, the sun, the mountains, the ocean, plants and trees, the stars and believe it or not about humans too; which leads me to my involvement with my community (the different ones I'm part of), the immigrant, the first generation in academia, the womxnhood, & the spiritual (just to name some). Though it is hard for me to list what I'm passionate about I have to say anything that is making the planet and our people heal, thrive and move forward and whatever medium is used to achieve this goal I'm more than happy to follow it or create it.
Why is the representation of scholars of color important to you?: I believe scholars of colors is important because it serves as a platform to showcase more people like me/similar like me in an era where it is highly needed. People of color need inspiration, we need to see ourselves represented and by doing so we are creating a different lineage that will change the narrative for the better. We need to unapologetically show who we are and bring our whole beings to any space we're allowed to. We. never know who is watching, therefore we never know who we can inspire.
