It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

Name: Pablo Saldana

What do you currently do for work and/or school?: A graduate of Portland State University’s School of Music, I am now a working actor, singer songwriter, and I work for the GRAMMY Foundation
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: I am a passionate creator and storyteller through music and the performing arts.
What are you passionate about?: I am passionate about creating art that moves an other soul.
Why is the representation of scholars of color important to you?: Representation of scholars of color in academia, media, and roles of leadership is extremely necessary. By taking space in these areas, we demonstrate to ourselves and our communities that the sky is the limit.
