It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What's your current occupation? (i.e. Student, Scientist, Coach, In transition, etc.): Student Affairs Professional, Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Center Coordinator
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: A individual who wishes to see good in the community he serves.
What are you passionate about?: I believe we are the product of those who have supported us. This also holds true for those we support. Therefore, I have always strived to bring value to the students I serve, the colleagues I work with, and the friends and family I love. There is a drive within me to ensure students that who are underrepresented, receive the resources, services, and guidance needed to not only graduate college but have the life skills to exceed in life. As my mentors paved the way for me, I wish to do the same for others.
What does the representation of Scholars of Color mean to you?: As a first-generation Hmong American and eldest of 7 siblings, the Scholars of Color is an important platform for professionals who come from an underrepresented background to share their stories and inspire others. One persons story can change another persons life.
