It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What's your current occupation? (i.e. Student, Scientist, Coach, In transition, etc.): First Year Attorney
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: I am a creative first-generation queer latina committed to breaking barriers, redefining norms, and someone who is always seeking community and supporting others
What are you passionate about?: Writing, drawing, the law, mentorship, creating, videography, civil rights law
What does the representation of Scholars of Color mean to you?: It means representation, a visualization of resiliency, grit, and uniqueness, and a sign of hope

Anything else you would like us to know?: I have a five year old I took to law school with me at 7 months pregnant, I am Mexican-Honduran, and I am always happy to help open doors to others on a path to law school. I also struggle with ADHD (diagnosed one year ago), depression, anxiety, and very much prioritize mental health and healthy ways to cope with that.
