What is Scholars of Color?
It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What's your current occupation? (i.e. Student, Scientist, Coach, In transition, etc.): Institutional change manager, learning and development, higher Ed administration
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: Inclusive and transformational leader
What are you passionate about?:Diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, belonging, Antiracism, anti-oppression, cultural transformation
What does the representation of Scholars of Color mean to you?: The next generation will finally have an opportunity to see themselves reflected in positions of leadership. My hope is that this inspires them to achieve their dreams and to know it is possible to do so despite systems and structures designed to disadvantage communities of color. Through community and partnership, anything can happen.

Anything else you would like us to know?: I am representing the LGBTQ+ and Latinx communities. In dissertation after completing all courses for a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University. Works in the Office for Cultural Transformation within the Division of Inclusive Excellence at Sac State.
