It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What's your current occupation? (i.e. Student, Scientist, Coach, In transition, etc.): MS in Higher Education Candidate; Graduate Assistant in Academic Advising

Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: Compassionate, cooperative, educator

What are you passionate about?: I am passionate about supporting students in their personal, academic, and professional development. I hope to support students in becoming global citizens who grow along others in community.

What does the representation of Scholars of Color mean to you?: As a first-generation latino queer scholar, Scholars of Colors means highlighting the stories of future queer leaders. I hope to continue seeing the growth of both students of color and queer leaders in different functional areas of our society.
